The latest discovery on the Fade Records imprint comes from Iceland, and the find is the collection that make up Funk Harmony Park. Their release is My Truth, and this is the first of two discs that feature a selection of remixes as well as the original mixes.
The Paranoid Jack Remix is first up and it builds nicely with some smooth drums patterns and a very tasty rolling baseline. The remix has a nice funky edge to it throughout with some nice subtle melodies and acid riffs as well to make it that extra little bit tasty.
On the flip we first have the Marky Star Remix v2.0. This mix also has a pretty nice funky edge to it thanks to the strong baseline patterns it has throughout, and not too mention the smooth sounds and effects that also feature throughout as well as the main vocal that makes minimal appearances.
The Original Mix finally features and it’s a tasty upbeat piece of house music that flows with solid b-lines and smooth funky elements. It rounds off a pretty solid first disc to this release.
