- RND follow up on their very successful release in ‘Ripples’ with their latest track on Looq recordings, Burn. It also comes armed with a healthy remix from San Francisco based Momu.
The Original Mix is first up and the beginnings paint a pretty deep moody picture with smooth beats and dark chugging baselines. A subtle melody comes into the track giving it a nice vibe that is never over the top and it builds nicely into the breakdown where a smooth baseline lifts the mood another notch, especially when the beats come back in accompanied with an intensified melodic stabs. Very tasty work yet again from RND.
Momu add a very nice remix on the flip using some nice twisted breakbeat drum patterns as well as using the baseline very well, not to mention adding a sinister baseline of their own that turns this remix into a very nasty and evil piece of work. Peak time stuff here form Momu that does the trick nicely.
A very solid release here from RND with both sides doing the business.
