- The first release on Infusions very own Poalroid Recordings comes from the trio themselves, as they unleash a fantastic reworking and a remix from Josh Wink of Better World.
First up is the Infusion Mix and it has their trademark gritty edges sound from the word go. Nice crisp beats meet really driving base tones and dirty electro riffs alongside vocal snippets of the main vocal line, ‘You Push Us Down’. The flow is quite nice, remaining quite interesting throughout with subtle breakdowns and changes in intensity.
The Josh Wink Mix on the flip is quite fantastic. Nice bouncy electro baselines make this a pure summer anthem, especially as the higher tones riffs come in after the first breakdown. Already receiving big airplay from John Digweed (as well as a spot on his upcoming fabric mix), it is clear to see why Josh was called on remix duties!
A great opening release to what promises to be a very big label with great big plans!
