- OK EG—the Melbourne duo of Lauren Squire and Matthew Wilson—bottle the unhinged, trancey energy of Australian bush doofs. Their style is colourful, psychedelic and rhythmically unpredictable, recalling the kinds of mind-benders you hear deep into a Peter Van Hoesen or Jane Fitz set. Without leaning too heavily on acid, techno or electro, "Prismatic Spring," which is available now on Bandcamp and will appear on an EP of the same name next month, takes elements of all three and shoots them through the mind of a dusty, wide-eyed raver.
