Scott McFadyen - G In Your Glow / Which, Why

  • The next release on Chris Fortier’s Fade imprint comes from a relative newcomer to the scene in Scott McFadyen, and he puts together two pretty smart productions for this US based label. On the a-side is the pretty intense G In Your Glow, a production that has a pretty retro epic progressive vibe to it, and a production that has a distinct similarity to the epic Paraglider’s production ‘Change Me’. The track builds very nicely with some crisp and tribal like drums and percussion, and once the track hits midway point, it really takes off with some driving synth patterns and twisted effects. Which, Why on the flip again builds with some very solid drum patterns and not before long, some nice intricate melodies build their way into the track surrounded nicely by the drums. It again is another pretty solid production by Scott showcasing his ability to merge sounds together quite nicely. Not a bad release by Fade and a release that showcases the more melodic side of the label.
