Having honed his sound touring his live show, Tom’s use of rhythm stems from taking up drumming at the age of seven. “Piano Band” fuses pounding drums with tearing FX and a cheeky sample from the great late, man of all parties, Louis Armstrong. “Out of my tree” is an electronic, low-slung techno growler, where fluttered beats fuse with warm analogue bass and effects.
