  • ize has long been a major player in the New York underground scene, effortlessly straddling the world of the club kids and that of the experimental rappers. However, this year he has truly made his presence known, carving out his own lane with meteoric force. Firstly there were the AceMo-produced tracks "This Is Not A Drill" and "Come Up." Now, he steamrolls further ahead with his new single, "Moves," released on the London label O___o?. "Moves" begins with some pleasantly disorientating percussion that detonates across the track like exploding fun snaps. ize's voice bursts through with his signature call "Do You Know," a chant as sardonic and addictive as the next two minutes of the song. Squarey bass hits bounce and glitter around the track, channeling the unapologetic, youthful sound of grime and the old-school video games that inspired the genre. ize glides along the beat with witty bars and focused flows, reflecting the energy of a man on a mission—and for an artist with this much talent, we really hope he succeeds.
