- D. Tiffany is among Vancouver's most innovative talents. The last time we caught up with her, she was tied up with her Planet Euphorique label, which in recent years has seen trippy releases from like-minded producers Ronan, Sleep D and Roza Terenzi. "8 In Conga R" gives us a taste of her next solo project, Cruel Trance. Like many of her other releases, it's driven by a relaxed intricacy. Pushing nine minutes, each listen lends attention to something new, whether it's the stuttering earworm melodies, the hand drum percussion, the multiple dubby interludes, the spare underwater bleeps or the soaring pads.
