- Ericke returns to the LMR stable with his latest release in Ya Don’t Stop. The Original mix is in the same vein as his last hit on the label, that being the very excellent ‘Make You Smile’, and this release is also armed with a Syncopation remix on the b-side.
First up though is the energetic Original Mix that begins with some full on drum patterns equipped with a multitude of percussive elements. Gritty electro riffs make this track the big room anthem that it is as well as some funky sax riffs that are well incorporated into the main loops of the production.
On the flip, the Syncopation Remix drops the tempo just a little with a smooth broken beat jazz like remix. Smooth beats as well as smooth sounds and subtle piano lines make this the calm and relaxed remix that it is.
A pretty good release here on LMR, with the Original mix the one to look for if you are after a more peak time experience. The flip is for the downbeat fans, but as a downbeat track, it is quite disappointing.
