- One name that you will be hearing plenty of (if you haven’t already) in the near future is Kosmas Epsilon. After very popular remixes of The Beloved and FC Kahuna, Kosmas was earmarked by a new label called Hypemuzik to get the ball rolling with their first release. He delivers with two original productions.
The first is Neverending which is a bit of a peak time anthem. The track builds with some crisp techy drums shortly before some warm melodic rhythms enter the production and set the mood early. Some nice deep breakdowns deep in the track are well created, creating beautiful and epic moments in this very uplifting production. Very much in the same vein as a classic late 90’s progressive epic, this track is sure to please those purists that love the uplifting aspects of the genre.
I Trance You on the flip is another driving affair, with deep baselines churning beneath the surface, all while looped synth patterns and melodic tones roll above it. The track builds until it really hits peak time in the second half, creating yet another peak time anthem from the talented Greek.
There are no hidden messages in this release, as Kosmas unleashes his melodic and anthemic side with these two productions. Not a bad way to get things under way for this new imprint.
