- With already four EPs out this year, the Brooklyn-based DJ and producer AceMo, real name Adrian Mojica, has been releasing at a fast clip. Last month, he stepped away from his refined old-school house and jungle-influenced sound with a zippy five-track EP aptly titled Ace's Acid. His latest project, POWER EP, presents his most topical work—its conceptual focus is the struggle against climate change. Released under MoMa Ready's label, Haus Of Altr, the four tracks highlight AceMo's laidback attitude with a rave flair. The third track off the EP, "Earth Rave," shows off his knack for melodies, with spacey, lo-fi synths shooting through a rolling techno beat. These six minutes are destined for breezy footwork in a dimly lit Brooklyn nightclub.
