Krystal Klear - Euphoric Dreams (KiNK Remixes)

  • It's easy to imagine KiNK's remix of "Euphoric Dreams," which first emerged in early July, as the climax to one of the Bulgarian's explosive live sets. Like Krystal Klear's original, it's a ball of neon energy, though KiNK swaps its full-throttle trance for something tougher and leaner. The result is fun and silly, but too many listens may drive you insane. The "Drum & Bass Mix" is newer, harder and better. Don't be fooled by the title—this is four-on-the-floor techno, with a wicked twist. Dirtybird-style bleeps ping against a shuffling drum rhythm as the intensity slow cranks up. Nasty 303s morph into '90s rave blasts, which in turn collapse into shrill bolts of noise. It's mean and propulsive, like a cross between dark UK funky and Joey Beltram's "Energy Flash."
