- The next release on the illustrious Plastic Fantastic label comes from Nu-Ritual. After their previous release saw the likes of James Zabiela, Tom Stephen, Jo Mills & The Low End Specialists lent their support, this release by the name of The Ritual looks set to be just as impressive.
The Original Mix gets the ball rolling nicely with some crisp beats as well as a very intriguing vocal pattern. The flow is smooth, until late in the track where we see sweeping synth take control in a massive breakdown that leads to the re emergence of the beats and the looped vocal sample.
On the flip is the Evolved Passion Remix. Quite a minimal remix that focuses on the tribal elements with good use of drums and percussion. The breakdown midway in is quite beautifully laid out with ethnic tones that soon lead back into the beats.
Not a bad release at all here, with the original mix probably being the better and livelier mix of the two.
