Penny McCleery lifts the track, with her lyrics, above the clouds and onto another level. Progressive and uplifting, this song keeps a steady pace throughout the mixes and moving from the transient to Hi NRG levels.
The original version has a deeper thumping drum and bassline filtering Penny's lyrics to an almost voice-box feel. The deep dub strips away all the vocals, shifts from a hard edge to an orchestral break and back to the harder side. Marco V experiments with tribal beats and percussive elements.
"Such Is Life" has a strength to it's lyrical content and a trance feel to it's musical production.
