- This is the final installment of Holger Behn's Forever Young project, a series of four limited edition 10-inch EPs on which every track has represents a character from a childhood dream. Both tracks here are lush, glowing slabs of deep house. The opener, "Captain," a collaboration with Get Physical's Andhim, is the standout. It clicks into gear immediately on a bed of slinky percussion. Layers of groaning bass, piano notes and vocal snatches elevate it to a couple of euphoric peaks before a twinkly breakdown ushers in a stripped-back closing stretch.
On the flip, "Writer" punctuates its celestial, pads-soaked landscape with wood-block percussion and popping keys. It doesn't excite quite like the A-side, but it's another graceful cut that adheres to the record's dreamy raison d'etre.
