Peter Bailey – Dancefloor

  • Peter Bailey returns to Harlem Records with a track that is sure to do some damage on the 'Dancefloor'. It's in the same vein as his hit on the label from a little while back by the name of 'U Need It' and it comes with 2 mixes sure to satisfy the dark and tribal in us. The Original Mix is on the a-side. Tough driving tribal drums rule this production. Some stabbing riffs also give this production its drive as the tune builds from the word go. The vocal sample takes the production a little further deep into the track combined with the deep driving baseline that works very well. Good solid work from the tribal veteran. The Hard In New York Mix is on the flip, and I must say that it is quite impressive. Already getting some big airplay by the big DJ’s, this mix has a massive kick and drum pattern. Chunky. The vocals feature a little more and are noticeably effected. The baseline does damage as do the effects that feature throughout the track. The riffs destroy as well and it clear to see why this production is called dancefloor. Beware. For me the b-side does the real damage in this release. If you like your music with a bit of balls and some real chunkiness to it then i can highly recommend this release.
