  • Behourz and Andy Caldwell, both from San Francisco, get together and bring a rather large house record showcasing the gorgeous vocals of Omega with a remix by Iberican stars Chus & Ceballos. The partnership of both these solo producers is quite unique as Behourz’s prog and dark style combines with Andy's own deep house roots. Last month Andy released the first volume of Insoul Sessions for the deep house fanatic. Big support from Deep Dish in Miami as well as the Danny Tengalia and Sasha. Behourz and Andy’s Blueroom mix From the outset you wouldn’t guess this to be a Behourz and Andy Caldwell production as layered, light hooked synths ease along the beat with an almost techy feel, quite hard to classify. When it moves into the breakdown, a piano accompanies the soulful vocal as it flows through a set of lyrics then the hooks bring in the end while the lushness of the beat drops. This mix would work for any set as the freshness of the sound works very well. Chus & Cellballos Iberican vocal Now, haven’t these boys been busy. The amount of the remixs that have been produced by this duo is astounding. Immediately you feel the Iberican presence with stabbing synths and a teasing little melody. The vocal starts early on and remains throughout, fading in and out with filters and echoing effects. Underneath the bassline which mirrors the hooks, a reworking of the piano compliments the vocals completely and you can’t help but feel very warm. A new element is introduced into the breakdown with a quirky little melody which is sustained for the rest of the track. Glorious stuff.
