  • Detroit techno heads Los Hermanos will play live this weekend at APT. The band, built around Gerald Mitchell's guiding hand, is set to perform as part of of Jerome Derradji's Stillmusic night in the basement of the Meatpacking District venue in New York City. Perhaps best known for their work on Underground Resistance, the oft-shifting lineup of the group has included DJ Rolando (of "Knights of the Jaguar" fame), Santiago Salazar and DJ Dex among its ranks. Mitchell, however, informs the music perhaps the most, bringing his jazz background to bear on the Detroit techno-infused tunes. Whatever the sound this weekend, however, expect this to be Derradji to open up with his usual set of soulful house and techno to get things started right for the group.
