New York's Blk|Market Membership kicks off the WMC with a live set from Pier Bucci at Bar 13, a full five days before the conference begins in a city more than 1,000 miles from Miami.
Despite the fact that it's neither in Miami nor directly before the conference, the night should prove to be an interesting one. Pier Bucci's live show is renowned for its splicing of Chilean melodies with Germanic techno. This will be Bucci's first appearance in New York in more than six months and he'll be following it up with dates in Miami and in Los Angeles later this month. Opening will be Steven Le Tigre, as well as sets by Blk|Market residents Taimur + Fahad.
