  • French musical chameleon Sebastien Leger compiles his planet-themed series of singles on a digital longplayer, 'Planets', this month. Léger started out making bigroom house for Defected but over the years he's happily flitted been house, progressive, tech house, techno and electrohouse with 12"s for labels such as Hed Kandi, Pryda Friends, Intec and Pickadoll, as well as poppy rerubs of Justin Timberlake, Dave Gahan and Duran Duran. 'Planets' finds the Frenchman trying on squelchy electro, melodic progressive and Bodzin-inspired electrohouse. "This is a club oriented album," says Léger. "It is fun, groovy, melodic, spacey, punchy, emotional, crazy and lovely. Like me". Astronomy is obviously not Léger’s strong point though. As well as the eight planets, there are tracks on the album named 'Sun', 'Moon' as well as the recently demoted 'Pluto'. 'Planets' arrives in both mixed and album format. Tracklist 1. Pluto 2. Uranus 3. Mercury 4. Mars 5. Earth 6. Moon 7. Venus 8. Jupiter 9. Sun 10. Neptune 11. Saturn Sébastien Léger's 'Planets' is released digitally on Mistakes Music on November 26, 2007. Leger will be out and about in his usual pink tee at the following clubs over the next month in support of the album.
