- Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Sven Väth, Tom Novy and of course Westbam will head up the Mayday Festival this year. Mayday is one of the oldest and most reputed techno festivals in the world – it’s been around since 1991. These days there are spinoffs Maydays held in Hungary, Poland and St. Petersburg, but it’s the German original that attracts the most buzz: over 20.000 ravers are expected to gather in Dortmund for this year’s event. Each Mayday has a theme composed by Members Of Mayday, DJs WestBam and Klaus Jankuhn, who will will of course also be performing at this year’s bash. Over seventy DJs and live acts will spin at Mayday 2007 including Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Sven Vath, Tom Novy, Audio Bullys, GusGus, Zombie Nation, Alexander Kowalski, Pig & Dan, Anthony Rother, Monika Kruse, Felix Kröcher, Kyau&Albert and Moguai to name a few.
