  • This weekend, vocal trance duo Gabriel & Dresden return to the place where it all began for them. The pair will spin in Miami where they first met each other five years ago. Gabriel & Dresden are Josh Gabriel and Dave Dresden. The two hooked up together at the Miami Winter Music Conference in 2001 when Gabriel was flogging white label copies of his first track "Wave 3" and Dresden was scouting new music for Pete Tong. After the conference, Dresden invited Gabriel to work with him on a remix of New Order's 'Someone Like You' and the duo was born. In 2004, Gabriel & Dresden hit the pop charts with the vocal trance anthem 'As the Rush Comes' under the name Motorcycle and have since found themselves in demand as remixers to the stars, giving makeovers to Britney Spears, Dido and Dave Gahan. In June, they released their self-titled debut longplayer on their label Organized Nature. This Saturday, the pair will be back on the streets of South Beach, Miami when they play an album tour date at Mansion. Expect oodles of uplifting progressive trance and vocal club anthems. Gabriel & Dresden play Mansion this Saturday, September 16, 2006.
