  • A new festival called Now or Never is coming to Melbourne this year. Run by the City of Melbourne, the multi-disciplinary festival will showcase art, ideas, music and technology across 17 days. One of the main venues will be the Royal Exhibition Building, a UNESCO World Heritage site that last hosted a dance music show more than a decade ago. The first wave of names is heavy on live acts, with slots for Kelela, serpentwithfeet, Autechre, Actress, Max Cooper and Giant Swan. There will also be a DJ-focused afternoon-into-evening party on Saturday, August 26th, hosted by Untitled Group and featuring CC:DISCO, Axel Boman, Ayebatonye and dameeeela. They'll be joined by Âme's Frank Wiedemann, who will play live. Built in 1879–1880, the Royal Exhibition Building was the first building in Australia to receive UNESCO World Heritage status, in 2004. It's spread across roughly 64 acres of land. Find out more about Now or Never via Instagram or the event listing below.
