- The techno artist's first LP in five years is out on June 16th.
DJ Bone has a new album on the way.
Landing on June 16th, FURTHER will be the techno artist's first full-length in five years, completing a trilogy that began in 2018 with A Piece Of Beyond and Beyond. The new LP spans 12 tracks.
"I want to convey how I feel at times as a creative: like I'm in a room screaming, coming up with dope ideas and one-of-a-kind moves… but the room I'm in is soundproof and has no windows," said DJ Bone. "The only way to know or experience what's in there is to go inside. The outside of the room is not shiny or fancy so it's pretty much ignored. People stumble upon the room in their quest for something uniquely different. And once inside their minds are blown."
Like the previous two albums in the trilogy, FURTHER will land via DJ Bone's Subject Detroit label—which will subsequently close for good after 25 years. A new label, also called FURTHER, will launch later in 2023.
