  • KALLIDA Festival and MISERY are hosting an emergency fundraiser in London for Uganda's queer community. Taking place on Thursday, April 27th, at Unit 58 in Tottenham, the event will raise money for people affected by a new anti-LGBTQIA+ bill that makes homosexuality punishable by death. All ticket sales will go towards bail charges, emergency accommodation costs and legal fees, among other things. Artists from Kampala and London will perform on the night, with slots for Authentically Plastic, Donnie Sunshine, Joe Cotch, Nowt and DJ Mapengo. Two headliners are still TBA. KALLIDA and MISERY are both involved in a larger fundraising drive for LGBTQIA+ Ugandans. Donate here.
