  • Richie Hawtin will perform in warehouses across North America as part of his From Our Minds tour this March. Starting in Detroit on March 10th, the tour will span eight shows across the US and Canada, stopping in Toronto, San Diego and more. The venues will be announced at a later date. Hawtin will be supported by a host of up-and-coming DJs, including Barbosa, Declan James, Decoder, Henry Brooks, Huey Mnemonic, jay york, Lindsey Herbert and Michelle Sparks. "Since starting my first label Plus 8 in 1990, it has always been important for me to help nurture, develop and promote new like-minded artists," said Hawtin. "Today, with the ever-growing popularity and globalisation of techno, it's critical to collaborate with the next generation, learning from one another and pushing forward together with open-minded curiosity." Last year, Hawtin collaborated with Chilly Gonzales on collaborative album Consumed In Key, launched his own Plastikman clothing line and continued to tour regularly. Check out the tour poster and listings.
Correction, January 16th: A previous version of this article said the upcoming tour is Hawtin's first in North America since 2015. It's actually his first since 2019.
