  • Mexican festival Carnaval de Bahidorá will return to Las Estacas, a natural park in the area of Morelos, in February 2023. Taking place from the 17th through 19th, the three-day event will feature a mix of local selectors, sound systems, collectives and international guests. Highlights include Sama' Abdulhadi, Mr. G, John Talabot, Soichi Terada, Fort Romeau, Hiatus Kaiyote, Moxie and a showcase from Lisbon label Príncipe Discos. Local collectives Nochenegra, La Roma Records and D Records will also host parties. In addition to the music, Carnaval de Bahidorá is collaborating with Glastonbury Festival's dance area The Common on a programme of live art and sustainability initiatives. This year, the project has expanded to include RE:SET, an online platform that will host films, talks and resources for festival producers, environmentalists and more.
