Hospitality firms Edo Kobayashi and Baja Restaurant Group have opened an audiophile bar in Miami.
Located in the Flagler District, Miami Sound Bar boasts a custom Tannoy Westminster sound system, and will host regular Selector Showcase events featuring local DJs and record collectors.
Programming will be covered by Tian. and Frny, the DJs behind the record label and event series SarahTonin305. The bar will be open Wednesday through Sunday.
"We started playing with the idea in 2018, when Edo opened up Tokyo Music Bar in Mexico City," founder and co-owner Frank Neri told Resident Advisor. "We wanted to bring that relaxed, tasteful atmosphere to up-and-coming Downtown Miami."
