  • Hot Mass and Honcho, two mainstays in North America's queer club circuit, are turning ten years old. To celebrate the anniversary, the Pittsburgh-based platforms are throwing a joint party this Saturday, December 10th, at a secret warehouse location. The lineup features Physical Therapy, Kiernan Laveaux, HUNY and Honcho members Aaron Clark, Clark Price and d'Adhemar, plus a back-to-back between Baronhawk Poitier and Tommy Cornelis. Honcho and Hot Mass, born from "members-only gay afterhours in Pittsburgh dating back to the disco days of the '60s and '70s," are now "the next chapter in this lineage," Clark told Resident Advisor. Hot Mass is a club and self-described "nightlife cooperative" organised by Honcho and other local collectives Humanaut, Detour, Cold Cuts and f(x). Honcho is a DIY party that also runs the Honcho Campout festival—revisit our feature on the 2019 edition. Check the event listing below for more details on Saturday's party.
