Nuits Sonores reveals first artists, visual identity for 2023 edition

Lyon festival Nuits Sonores has revealed the first names for 2023. Taking place across nine venues from May 17th through 21st, next year's event marks Nuits Sonores' 20th anniversary. The programme will include a mix of live performances and DJ sets from Avalon Emerson, Animistic Beliefs, Blawan, Chilly Gonzalez, Dax J back-to-back Umwelt, LSDXOXO, Maceo Plex, Moderat, Nastia, Tzusing and more. The daytime programming will take place at La Sucrière, Le Sucre and Azar Club, which will host a new fourth stage, while the night events will unfold at the Old Fagor-Brandt Factories. More than 100 artists will be announced in the coming months. As part of the announcement, the festival has unveiled its visual branding for 2023—a collaboration between Lyon-based studios Superscript² and Studio Antho, a digital developer and scenographer.
