  • UK sex-positive party Crossbreed is closing for good. The news broke via Instagram earlier today, November 24th. In a statement, founder Alex Warren, AKA Kiwi, said "the team has made the decision that it's not possible to work with the Crossbreed brand further and as such I have to close the company down." They added: "Words will never really be enough. This community is so special and I hope that in time other spaces will grow too." Earlier this month, Warren stepped down as the head of Crossbreed after multiple allegations surfaced against them online via an anonymous Instagram account. In a statement, Warren said the allegations included "some inaccurate and false stories" as well as "some very serious allegations." According to today's statement, Crossbreed's Instagram account will be inactivated tomorrow, and all ticket buyers will receive refunds in the coming days. Warren founded Crossbreed as a party and label in 2017. The events quickly became popular, combining a sex-positive ethos with house and techno bookings. Read Crossbreed's latest statement.
