  • A new book explores the history of British indie-dance trio Saint Etienne. Out on December 13th via Repeater Books, How We Used Saint Etienne to Live features original interviews with all three members—Sarah Cracknell, Bob Stanley and Pete Wiggs—and places a particular focus on how they made music out of memories. It's authored by British journalist and music writer Ramzy Alwakeel, who previously wrote a book on The Pet Shop Boys. Formed in London in 1990, Saint Etienne are best known for their cover version of Neil Young's "Only Love Can Break Your Heart," taken from their acclaimed debut album, Foxbase Alpha. The track was later remixed by the late Andrew Weatherall. Pre-order How We Used Saint Etienne to Live, and listen to "Only Love Can Break Your Heart."
