- Out December 9th, From Ukraine, For Ukraine will be the first release on the ∄-affiliated label in nine months.
Standard Deviation, the label affiliated with Kyiv club ∄ (AKA K41), is releasing a new compilation.
Spanning 20 tracks, From Ukraine, For Ukraine features original music by the likes of Marcel Dettmann, DJ Stingray 313, Tzusing, M.E.S.H., Koloah, Setaoc Mass, Evita Manji and Katarina Gryvul. It's out on digital from December 9th.
"This release came together in between power outages, long hours without electricity, water and heat that all Ukrainians are currently facing," the label said.
All proceeds from the compilation will go to the K41 Community Fund, which the club launched in response to the Russian invasion in February. As of November 7th, the fund had raised 746,395 UAH (£16,587.53) to help various Ukrainian volunteer and military organisations.
"We believe it's crucial for the world to hear us and to see the brave resistance of the Ukrainian nation to the russian occupants," the label continued. "This is what will guide our coming curatorial approach—highlighting music and art that reflects the current realities of Ukrainian struggle for freedom."
