Warp Records is reissuing groundbreaking compilation Artificial Intelligence on vinyl for the first time since its release 30 years ago.
Featuring early tracks by the likes of Aphex Twin (as The Dice Man), Autechre, Richie Hawtin (as UP!) and Speedy J, the LP is one of the UK label's most cherished releases. The original gatefold sleeve, designed by The Designers Republic, was reconstructed especially for the reissue, which lands on December 9th.
Considered the birth of IDM, Artificial Intelligence was the first release in Warp's series of the same name. The series ran from 1992 through '94 and also included Polygon Window's Surfing On Sine Waves, B12's Electro-Soma and Artificial Intelligence II.
