- The venue broke the news on Instagram earlier today, October 28th.
Barcelona club RED58 has closed with immediate effect.
The venue made the announcement via Instagram Stories this afternoon, October 28th. No reason was given. "We're very sorry to announce that today the club is going to end activities," read the post. "We're thankful for sharing music and joy all these years. To refund your tickets, please contact us."
Tonight's party with German label Sequalog is now cancelled, as are the handful of events scheduled at the club in the coming weeks.
A 250-capacity venue located next to the University Of Barcelona, RED58 launched in February 2017 with a party featuring Moritz von Oswald. The programming centred around trippy, stripped-back house, with Vera, Z@p, DJ Masda, DJ Koolt and ISAbella among past guests.
