Japanese sound and visual artist Ryoji Ikeda has a new album on the way in December through Berlin label NOTON.
Spanning 17 tracks, ultratronics features audio material recorded between 1989 and 1999 and compositions created between 2013 and 2022. Ikeda will premiere the album live at Tokyo venue WWW X on October 15th. He'll also perform at MUTEK.JP in December.
Ikeda's last album for the Berlin label (then Raster-Noton) was 2013's Supercodex. Last summer, he helped curate the largest exhibition of his work in London. He currently lives and works between Paris and Kyoto.
