  • Brussels-based composer Maxime Denuc is releasing a new album. Moving between ambient, harmonic electronica and drum-less dub techno, Nachthorn spans eight tracks recorded entirely on the main organ at St. Antonius Church in Düsseldorf. The LP takes its name from one of the 78 stops that make up the church organ, which features a MIDI-capable system developed by German company Sinua. "With this MIDI organ I have controlled with my own softwares, I fulfilled an old dream of mine: to create an entirely acoustic dance music piece with the organ as sole actor," Denuc said. Nachthorn will come out via Vlek on October 21st. It follows Solarium, Denuc's debut release on the Belgian label in 2020. Listen to "Function Music."
