Printworks says it's in talks to reopen the venue after land redevelopment starts in 2023.
"While there is still a dedicated planning process that needs to take place before we can 100 percent confirm the future of Printworks," Broadwick Live, the group behind the club, said on Instagram, "we're positive about our future."
Printworks confirmed that it will close as planned next year, as part of a long-planned redevelopment that involves replacing the current former newspaper printing facility with office blocks.
"As a team we're committed to preserving the essence of the iconic Press Halls," they said, "and retaining the spirit that we've all come to love, so we are working hard in partnership with British Land on designs that only seek to elevate the space."
For now, Printworks has outlined the rest of its 2022 season.
