  • Brooklyn club Elsewhere is turning five years old this October. To celebrate, the multi-room venue is hosting Grammy Award-winning artist Mura Masa on October 31st with Riobamba and Tama Gucci on support duties. Also on the bill are babe2babe2babe, Fever Dream, Sploofi, Meilgaarden, Laila Amira and Charlie Vinyl. Elsewhere opened in 2017 with a focus on highlighting bands, DJs and other live acts from both the underground and the mainstream. In 2018, the venue added a rooftop space. "We're proud of offering programming reflective of all New York City communities that provides something much bigger than just going out," cofounder Jake Rosenthal told Resident Advisor. "If nightlife is an incubator for what's next in music, Elsewhere has arguably become a major breeding ground for New York City culture, and that's what we're here for." Check the event listing below for more information on the birthday.
