Shannen SP and dBridge share playlists ahead of London's Waterworks Festival 2022

- Shannen SP and dBridge have compiled playlists ahead of their performances at London's Waterworks Festival on September 17th. Each playlist has a different theme. Shannen SP chose "End Of Summer," with music by the likes of Mr JazziQ, Cooly G, Teno Afrika and DJ Katapila. dBridge went for "UK BLAK," spotlighting key Black British artists from the '90s such as Omar, Mica Paris and Sade. "I discovered most of these [artists] when I moved back to London after living in a tiny village called Malvern," dBridge told Resident Advisor. "I came to live with my auntie in Croydon in the early '90s and my cousin (big up Elaine) schooled me with her collection. I miss this stuff and these kinds of acts." Both Shannen SP—who is going back-to-back with Ahadadream—and dBridge—who will present his Black Electric live show—are playing RA's Siren stage at Waterworks. Also playing Siren are DMZ, Yung Singh, DJ Storm, dub legends Aba Shanti and more. Waterworks, which returns to Gunnersbury Park in West London, has partnered with UK charity War Child on a run of limited-edition T-shirts. Designed by Morgan Hislop, the merch will be available buy onsite or after the festival. As well as the festival proper, Waterworks is running three satellite events: one pre-party and two afterparties. Browse the listings below for the full schedule.
