- Three events companies—Entourage Paris, Culture and HAïKU—are behind the mysterious project.
A new techno club is opening in Paris this Saturday, September 10th.
Located in the 10th arrondissement between Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est, Carbone is a collaboration between local event agencies Culture, Entourage Paris and HAïKU. The capacity is 500 people, photos are banned and visitors have to call a phone number to find out the lineups (see below). There are also no presale tickets.
These details were divulged in a Trax Magazine interview with Brice Coudert, the brain behind legendary Paris club Concrete, who will launch a monthly techno and trance night at Carbone called Antiverse on Saturday, September 17th.
"This is a project that I will develop very strongly in the coming years," Coudert told Resident Advisor. "I really intend to create a real community around it, and manage to bring together several generations of clubbers."
In the same interview, Coudert confirmed Carbone has a floor-level DJ booth, L-Acoustics sound system and lighting rig designed by Parisian studio Matière Noire.
