  • Australian singer-songwriter Carla dal Forno is releasing her third album later this year. Spanning nine tracks, Come Around explores themes of home, disorder and insomnia. Since her last LP, Look Up Sharp, she moved to Castlemaine, a small city in southeastern Australia. The title track is streaming below. "'Come Around' was inspired by a guy I used to play in a band with," dal Forno said about the single. "I really admired the way he played guitar. He had this laid-back strum that was effortless and cool [...] I wrote the song during a carefree springtime and I loved working on it while recording this album. There's a lightness and openness to it, which I feel quite liberated by. It reminds me of a life I once had with very few responsibilities." Come Around is out on November 4th through Kallista Records, the label dal Forno launched in 2019. Watch the video for the title track, edited by Ludovic Sauvage.
