Watch the first episode of a new documentary series called The Evolution of Black British Music.
Streaming now on My5 TV in the UK, the five-part programme is directed by Femi Oyeniran and Nicky Slimting Walker for Black British content platform BET UK. The first episode looks at jungle, with cameos from Goldie, DJ Ron, Fabio & Grooverider, Ray Keith and more.
Out soon, forthcoming episodes will focus on UK garage, grime, Afro swing and UK funky, and road rap and drill. Watch a trailer for the series and a teaser for the first episode, which you can also stream in full now.
