New club FØRGE coming to Sheffield

- Dax J, IMOGEN and Boxia will play the opening on September 16th.
- A new nightclub is opening in Sheffield next month. Located in a former Victorian steel forge on Effingham Road, FØRGE overlooks Sheffield & Tinsley Canal. The venue, which will run until 6 AM, features a Pioneer sound system and LED lighting rig. The opening party is set for September 16th, with Dax J, IMOGEN and Boxia joining local DJs such as alex.aubyn, Porter Brook and colecta. More dates will be revealed soon. "There are great venues here in Sheffield, a real history and community," venue director Richard Welch told Mixmag. "Perhaps what makes us different is our space. It's unconventional as a music venue, but that's the attraction. We hope to bring something different to Sheffield, that was always our intention." Watch a teaser clip via Instagram.
