Detroit-based producer DeepChord, AKA Rod Modell, is releasing his first album in four years.
Out September 30th on Soma Records, Functional Designs spans 11 eleven tracks of ambient and electroacoustic dub techno. It'll be available in digital, CD and vinyl formats.
The album, DeepChord's sixth for the Glasgow label, will be accompanied by two separate EPs—Functional Extraits 1 and Functional Extraits 2—due out via Soma on September 2nd and October 14th respectively. The artwork for all three releases features DeepChord's night photography.
