- Diagonals is out now on their DDS label under Hodge's alias Born Under A Rhyming Planet.
Jamie Hodge, AKA Born Under A Rhyming Planet, has released a new album of archival material.
Out now on Demdike Stare's DDS label, Diagonals features 14 tracks of jazz-infused deep house, techno, ambient and dubby electronica, including two edits from Demdike Stare. The record is now available in digital and vinyl formats.
Compiled from unreleased material including Hodge's earliest experiments for Richie Hawtin's Plus 8 label in the 1990s all the way to early '00s recordings under his and Move D's collaborative project, Conjoint, Diagonals marks Hodge's first full-length and also his first release under the Born Under A Rhyming Planet alias since his 1995 EP, Spasm Band, on Plus 8.
