Mexico City collective Mujeres Vinileras is hosting a workshop for women and nonbinary people interested in spinning vinyl.
The event is happening on Saturday, August 6th, from 12 PM to 5 PM at La Chicha in Mexico City. Space is limited to 20 participants with an entry fee of 400 pesos.
"With this workshop we seek to platform the participation of women and sexually divergent peoples within the culture of vinyl music, as well as foster a space for communion, skill sharing and knowledge sharing across vinyl music production, the collective said on Instagram.
Founded in 2018, Mujeres Vinileras is the city's first women-only collective focusing on music in vinyl format.
