  • London party Secretsundaze is celebrating 20 years with a debut live ensemble show at Southbank Centre's Queen Elizabeth Hall. On Friday, October 7th, a live band and vocalists will perform 20 of the party's most important tunes. Band members include Myele Manzanza (drums), Oli Savill (percussion), Johnny Brierley (bass), musical director Lewis Moody (keys) and party cofounder James Priestley (MPC, FX, keys). "We selected 20 foundational tracks from two decades of DJing at Secretsundaze as a basis to work from," said the party's other cofounder, Giles Smith. "These records have been reimagined through the lens of various other genres with a stand-out collective of musicians and will be performed live at the Queen Elizabeth Hall for the first time." One of the tracks is Photek's "Mine To Give," which has been reimagined with Wayne Snow on vocals (the original features Robert Owens). Out tomorrow, July 20th, this new version is the first of many upcoming singles by Spirit of Sundaze Ensemble, with an album also slated for release in 2023. Before the live show, Secretsundaze will celebrate 20 years at Oval Space with Joe Claussell, Soichi Terada, Ciel and more. Listen to a snippet of "Mine To Give" via Instagram.
