  • Braga's Semibreve Festival has finalised its lineup for 2022. Unfolding from October 27th through 30th, the 12th edition will feature music, installations, talks and workshops across various venues in the Portuguese city. New additions to the bill include Caterina Barbieri, François J. Bonnet & Stephen O'Malley and Maxwell Sterling, who will perform alongside audiovisual artist Stephen McLaughlin to present material from his Turn Of Phrase and Hollywood Medieval albums. These acts will join previously confirmed names like Alva Noto, KMRU, Jan Jelinek, Jana Rush and Gábor Lázár. There will also be a label showcase celebrating ten years of Príncipe Discos. Since its inception in 2011, Semibreve has established itself as one of Europe's best experimental and digital arts festivals. This year's venues include UNESCO World Heritage site Bom Jesus, Theatro Circo, contemporary arts space Gnration, Capela Imaculada chapel and the University of Minho's medieval saloon.
