  • Dustin Zahn's studio in Berlin has been robbed. The US artist posted via Instagram yesterday, July 14th, with a full list of the stolen gear, which includes synths, FX units, laptops, hard drives, drum machines and microphones. The building housing his studio and others was broken into earlier this week. "Every cent I make usually goes back into records and studio equipment," he wrote. "This has been particularly devastating because my studio was an accumulation of my last ten-15 years of work, and now I have nothing left to show for it. I am completely wiped out." Zahn has appealed to anyone who may know anything about the burglary or the whereabouts of the gear to get in touch. Unfortunately, none of the equipment was insured. "More than anything, I'd just like to get my gear back," he said. Born in Wisconsin, Zahn makes and plays techno and has released on labels like Rekids, Drumcode and his own Enemy Records.
